'Russians Make Mistakes Too' [Soviet Espionage] contained within 'Esquire' magazine. Volume LIV, No.5, November 1960.

New York: Arnold Gingrich / Esquire, 1960. Magazine format in pictorial paper wraps. Original price: 35 cents. Minor wear else fine. This 4-page story appears on p.96, as part of Esquire's 'Handbook for Professional Spies'. Some handling, spine with some expected wear. Very good. The first appearance of this essay on espionage, later published within Talk of The Devil (2008). Penned shortly after the American U-2 single-seat spy plane piloted by CIA operative Gary Powers was shot down deep inside Soviet territory, Fleming noted that the Russians too had made significant errors of judgement.
