Publisher's cloth in pictorial dust-wrapper, designed by Barbosa, after Richard Chopping's designs for the jackets of the original 007 novels. A fine copy in a near fine, lightly used, price-clipped jacket. Most attractive. Ian Fleming took the name for his famous 007 character from the American ornithologist James Bond, the author of "Birds of the West Indies" They met on just one occasion, 5th February 1964.
