[James Bond Films] A studio-issued press pack for "Goldfinger", directed by Guy Hamilton and starring Sean Connery as 'James Bond 007', Gert Frobe, Honor Blackman and Shirley Eaton. Comprising nine feature biographies of the key cast and film-makers, four informational sketches, and thirteen original 8 x 10 inch gelatin silver press photographs. The reference texts are printed on four-colour 'Goldfinger' stationery. Biographies include those of leading actors Sean Connery, Gert Frobe, Shirley Eaton and Tania Mallet, the legendary production designer Ken Adam, and Guy Hamilton directing the first and greatest of his four 007 blockbusters. The accompanying film advertising stills comprise some individual frames taken from the movie, promotional portraits and some particularly candid shots (both on and off-set). These include Sean Connery with a mug of tea and the iconic 'Golden Girl' Shirley Eaton opening a bottle of wine on the patio and enjoying a swing in the garden. Some faint paperclip indentations, a few minor notations to stationary, one photo ['Goldfinger' portrait] with remnants of blue paper press tag to verso, one photo [Connery] trimmed for publication and marked-up as such to rear. Near fine, without the original gold folder, housed in an attractive cloth-covered photograph tray with printed paper label to lid.
