Publisher's black cloth-effect paper over boards, blocked in silver and red metallic foil, pictorial dust-jacket by Richard Chopping. No inscriptions, some wear/rubbing along to edge, some discolouring of the cloth. A good-very good copy of the book in a used jacket, rubbed to spine and joints, chips to extremities. This copy retains a fraction of the printers guidelines and colour mark to front flap which is usually trimmed clear. This entry in the legendary James Bond series is an absolute classic; 007 does battle with SMERSH, the Soviet organisation of vengeance, interrogation, torture and death, and in particular their fearsome executioner Red Grant.
