Publisher's black cloth-effect paper over boards with red titles and 'Heart' design to upper, pictorial green 'playing card' dust-wrapper illustrated by Pat Marriott (uncredited on this impression). A clean, fine copy of the book without ink names or owner markings. Jacket is toned to the lighter areas, one chip to head of spine, price clipped. An attractive example. An important edition, designated 'new edition' by the publisher; this is the first appearance of this striking and long-lived dust-wrapper design, which was in print until the 1980s. Item #61618
