Publisher's smooth cloth-effect paper over boards, with red titles to the spine, top edge tinted orange, in pictorial dust-wrapper. First printing with slightly chipped jacket, price clipped; second printing with gift inscription, jacket rather chipped and worn. Sold as a pair, the second having a reset jacket flap incorporating a Sunday Times review. Airline Detective is the story of BOAC security expert Donald E. W. Fish, being ghost written by John Pearson and introduced by Ian Fleming, who had met Fish some years earlier when covering an Interpol conference for the Sunday Times. Item #61623
