The Property of a Lady appears on pages 15–27, with four colour illustrations including one double-spread. There is also an inset photograph of a page from the manuscript. Trivial handling; near fine. Sotheby's Art at Auction is a lavishly illustrated reference volume commemorating the auctioneer's 250th anniversary. The James Bond story was originally commissioned by the auction house in 1963 and is reprinted here for this special edition of their yearbook, with newly commissioned colour plates by Ron Bowen.
