Publisher's black cloth-effect paper over boards with 'skull' design stamped to upper, lettered in GILT to the spine, together with another copy lettered in SILVER to the spine, without jackets. Contents clean in both books, edges very slightly dusty and spotted, with discreet ink ownerships to both front fly-leaves. Cloth covers remain fresh. A near fine pair of the sliver and gold foil variants. Most uncommon. Gilbert (pp.237-8) describes the binding "with the back-strip lettered in gilt (or very occasionally in silver)" Item #62980
