With the dust-jacket illustrated by Tom Adams priced at 21s. Contents clean, owner name, jacket toned to spine, some wear to crown. Very good. The first post- Ian Fleming James Bond novel, written under a pseudonym by Kingsley Amis, who had edited Fleming's final 007 story for posthumous publication in 1965. This is the standard first edition, with no quad mark to copyright page and vertical 'North' pointer (rather than angled) on the cartographic endpapers. Item #64272
