Original price: 50 cents. The novel 'Thunderball' is advertised on the front cover as an 'extra book bonus' and appears on pages 128–44, with a sepia-toned frontispiece illustration by Gil Cohen. Postal label to upper, chip to corner of rear cover else a fine copy, housed in a gilt-titled protective hardback cloth case. An abridged version published shortly after the book-form edition. This is the first American periodical appearance and the first US illustrated edition. Scarce. Item #64292
