A clean, fine copy of the book in a bright wrapper with a little rubbing to the front panel. Overall near fine. The third James Bond novel. An important edition, being freshly set from new type (the type for the first two impressions had already been distributed). Armorial bookplate of Anthony Fanshawe Royle, Baron Fanshawe of Richmond, KCMG (1927-2001), former Guards Officer and SAS Commando, later MP for Richmond, a Foreign Office minister and Conservative Party Vice Chairman under Margaret Thatcher.
