Publisher's black cloth-effect paper over boards with silver titles to spine and Japanese characters in gilt to upper, bamboo patterned endpapers, dust-jacket illustrated by Richard Chopping priced at 16s. No inscriptions, armorial bookplate of David Richard Colville front paste-down, jacket toned to the spine, some minor wear and marks. Very good. David Richard Colville (1909-1987) was a wartime colleague of Ian Fleming, both serving in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve. He married Lady Joan Child-Villiers, a relative of Fleming's great friend Charles Amherst Villiers, pioneer of Bentley Motors superchargers. Item #64758
