With 'First Published March 1964' on the copyright page, being the rarer of the two First Printing states (Gilbert). Publisher's dark grey cloth-effect paper over boards with silver titles to spine and Japanese characters in gilt to upper, bamboo patterned endpapers, pictorial dust-wrapper by Richard Chopping. A clean, fine copy of the book in a near fine jacket which has minor toning to the spine panel and light wear to the spine tips. Shows well. Described by Raymond Benson as 'one of the most successful books in the series, conjuring more mood and atmosphere than any Bond tale since Casino Royale (1953).'. Item #64760
