Ian Fleming's Life Story: The Man With The Golden Pen, appearing in Woman's Mirror (two issues, extracted complete text).

London: Fleetway Publications, [1966]. [Literary Biography] Loose leaves, extracted from the publication, 18pp., 22pp., stapled to top left. Some browning, minor edge wear. Signature and pencil note of bibliographer Jon Gilbert. This is a serialisation of Gant's biography of Fleming, in two magazine appearances [April 23rd 1966 & April 30th 1966], provided with a copy of the book-form edition. This early biographical work was published some six months before John Pearson's 'Life of Ian Fleming' (Gilbert). A scarce piece of Bondiana, previously owned by Iwan Hedman-Morelius, a mystery magazine publisher and a respected figure in Bond-collecting circles. He was a correspondent of both Fred Snelling, author of Double O Seven: A Report (1964), and Fleming's biographer Andrew Lycett. Rare (no other copy currently available), evidently these extracts were the only examples Hedman could locate. Item #65897
