Publisher's red cloth with black titles to spine, illustrated dust-jacket by William Randell. Page edges toned, some old tape marks to endpapers where wrapper was once secured, jacket is bright, with a couple of brown spots to top edge and a long tear to foot of front panel. Shows well. Three cases for the eccentric oversized New York armchair detective Nero Wolfe. The mysteries of Rex Stout were cited as an influence by thriller writer Ian Fleming, being mentioned by name in the James Bond novels (read by 007 and frowned upon by M). Item #67754
